What about this car nonsense then...
Right, well, you'll of course noticed that the charter link on the right over there has been updated with the new charter in easy to read PDF format, accessible by all sorts...
Most of it is the standard guff from the previous one, but the 'rules' section has been trimmed. The two new bits you should know about is the red flag rules, read up on that in the charter, and more importantly the cars we'll use in the racing...
Three new classes:
We'll continue to use our 587pp road cars, or 'Exotique' class. Nicely cheesy I think you'll agree.
Which means cars like this:
The next new class...
We'll also be doing TC500. This is 500pp road cars (by charter definition) with four doors and racing medium max tyres. Now whilst you think it's just going to be Subaru and Mitsubishi 4wd cars, there are cars like this:
And finally, we'll have one last class, 650Open class. This is anything allowed in the charter (no F1 or X cars), including racing cars, up to 650pp. Expect to do endurance races with cars like this:
That's really a lot of choice!
The details are in the charter, but really, it's quite simple. Buy three cars, one you already have, one needs 4 doors and 500pp and one can be anything with 650pp. Expect to race all of them in the season.
And, we'll also of course race the standard in-game cars in an arrive-and-drive style, showcasing just who is the best driver on the night (and generally ending up with some very close races of course!).
Looking forwards to some excellent races with these extra classes of cars folks, race on!
