New Season - Practice race at Fuji

Please excuse the cheesy music.
It's a long story.

Good opening race for the new season folks. Welcome Chris, who did pretty well on the night to be honest - a well deserved win in the Skyline at Trial Mountain. I'll have to re-record that, some cable issue somewhere caused a load of glitching.

But what of the first race?
Could it get any closer? True I had the boost on high but even so, that was a close race. In fact every race was close tonight. I'll take advice on if we want to have boost as high all the time - the only issue I can see is if folks want to have the chance to win fair and square, boost makes that hard.

Here's a vid of the race

Good watching I reckon. Up until the last lap when the glitching starts. No idea what that is, but the S-video cable is on the way out, I'll fit my spare...

Other news
I mentioned in an email that I'm going to allow traction control in the 650Open class. This will make it easier for the non-steering wheel folks to race I think, and really will help keep it close.

Also, the cunning thing with the 500TC and 650Open class is that you'll notice that many of the seasonal events in-game are now 400pp, 500pp and 650pp - so you'll have a maxed racer for the seasonal races, clever eh.

Nascar?
Anyone fancy a go in Nascar - would do a race with something other than a plain oval, Indy Road Course for example. There's in-game cars, so there's no need to buy a bus. Could be fun with the larger league race field we now have.
