FCT GT5 League Race #3

Once again race night is upon us. And this is the Christmas special!

Can we best our last outing in the wet? Our racing field was slim (just five of us) but it was excellent racing for sure. I think we can improve...

This week’s race promises to be something special. Here’s a clue:

That’s right; we’re racing at Spa, an iconic race track that’s little changed from the golden era of racing.

For race night we’ll have two race cars available from the much loved JGTC series:

• Castrol Tom's Supra '97
• Calsonic Impul GT-R '08

Notes:

Cars will be fixed and selected from the lounge garage set, so no tuning allowed – this is as a little fettling can make quite a difference, we’re keen not to do that in our series eh!

Normal rules will apply, boost on, low penalties, TC/ASM/Line off, etc.

If we’re not able to race this track – not everyone has it (though we tested this), we’ll defer to Trial Mountain, a poor comparison to Spa but suitable for these cars I think.

If you’ve not got this track available – go to my lounge, tonight I’ll set my default track to be Spa so that you can do practice laps. (It’s also available as downloadable content).

Racing over Christmas?

Want to earn some $$ and Exp points for your B-spec driver? Share them out as if I get time I’ll run an online race or two. If you’ve only got one B-spec driver I’d suggest that you create a second, you’ll need two for endurance racing (more in fact) so this is a handy way of gaining experience for a new driver – though they won’t win if they’re low experience!

On top of that, I’ll be getting online on the 29^th (a week Thursday) to see who’s about for a non-league race night – you all know my email/mobile so feel free to txt and ask – I’ll not a answer if I’m busy ;o)
