Top Racing as always. But with the reduced field (just five racers) and the faster cars I decided to run high boost - and what a good choice that was. Despite being 650Opens I think we all mixed it up at some point in the evening, plenty of overtaking opportunities and not just because the car in front binned it.
Special mention to Rod I think - he's the only one with a pit crew on hand. Though drink driving is bad mmmkay - you'll spill it.
And a mention for Paul - Not sure how much practice you did chap but I'd have a wager it was less than Chris, Evan or me - and yet you kept us honest through both races, and of course your M5 owned us in the after races.

Well, I love the difference between our classes, TC500 and 650Open couldn't be more different, whilst the Exotique does bridge the gap a bit. But what of the racing? Paul's TC500 M5 could well be an unbeatable car once he's in front - certainly at Eiger even with high boost we struggled to keep up somewhat. Even Chris's WRX was bested there which is a surprise given the track's turns and hills.
What's next?
Well there's some fringe racing that's been going on:
- 86 GT Toyota racing - these cars are ace and real good all round 500pp cars to run.
- 590pp Super GT Japanese race cars - grab one, they're fun to race.
I'm happy to run an pointless night with either of these, but we do all need to have the appropriate class cars.
But next week, the 17th - we'll have to wing it, as Luke and I are moving offices that night (fun!). Be prepared for a race of 80's cars at 500-550pp (TBC) and a "Cars of Film Fame" night, this'll have to be arranged with details submitted beforehand so we can get to a common pp score - expect more in a few weeks time.
